Light and Friends

More items I drew for my mini-shop, Kawaii Co., on Gaia. I did these a while back, but I only now got a chance to UL them.

It's Light, Misa, Matsuda, L, Near, BB, Mello, Matt, Ryuk, and Rem from Death Note.

I really like Death Note! I had a lot of fun drawing these! So much, in fact, that some of them, like Light, Mello, and Matt ended up being limited quality, because I inadvertently added things, like the apple, chocolate, and cigarette to them. Drawing's always fun, more or less, but a lot of times, it feels more automatic and routine than "Yaaay!" so this was a nice change.

I used reference for all, but BB. I never read the novel, so I drew him from a description on the Gaia forum. I referenced a chibi figurine to draw Ryuk and drew Rem in the same style as Ryuk.

I think Matt looks best and that Matsuda looks worst. I'm surprised about Matt, because I was trying to make L look best, since he's my favorite character.
