A long overdue art trade with
 . It's the Lymin gryphon dancing while holding a fan with Komico on it.There's a heckuva story behind this one! When I first did it, my scanner stopped working. By the time I got another, I got better at drawing, so I redid it, but then it stopped working again. Then, I got a new one, but now, my sketchbook was gone! After that, I was screw it, I'm doing this digitally. Then, my computer stopped working.  You've got to have a sense of humor here. Luckily, it was backed up on a USB Key, so I was able to get around to finishing it, so now, it's done.This was sketched in MSPaint and everything else was done in Paint Shop Pro X. hmm, very nice pose and setting, even the play you did with the shadows in the background is intriguing and good! very eye catching, the pose is very well done and apealing, I can almost listen to the traditional background music @.@
hmmm, well, since you ask for advanced critique, I will point out two things
first off, you have a beautiful shadow work on the background, this means there's a strong lightsource, this should be reflected as the fan producing a shadow on the face as well
and second, in this kind of dance, it's more common to hold the fan with just one or two fingers extended and the rest folded, making for a delicate and graceful grip
either way, very good to see you uploading stuff again!
